Hardy Uniqua Fly Reel 4"A Hardy Uniqua in 4" salmon size, this one currently set up to favor LHW. Duplicated Mark II style check with a telephone latch. The initials "RR" (Robert Richardson) are stamped on the inside of the frame, and he worked at Hardy from approximately 1938 1950. The reel's leaded patina has been cleaned removed leaving it bright, though the underlying metal is in great shape with no pitting or corrosion which sometimes happens as a result. Excellent

The rod includes a replacement bag and tube as well as custom hand-turned wood/cork ferrule plugs

The grip is 6 1/2" long

The rod measures 6'9" with two sections and two tips and is designed for a three or four weight line

so it seems a rare rod indeed
