Sam Carlson "Four" Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #3A superb Sam Carlson "Four" quad bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip and built for what feels to me like a #3 line. Serial #822 4752. Near mint condition with just the slightest hint of use. It weighs 3. 3 ounces on my scale. Medium slow, full flexing action. "Carlson 'Four'", the serial number, and "CW Sam Carlson Maker" inked on the butt. The rod is pin straight and the ferrule fits are excellent. Medium wheatstraw cane built in a semi random node
The detached original reel foot (broken) with serial number is included with the sale
It is also the only Garrison rod known that has the butt and tube cap engraved to the original owner
The seat is an uplocking aluminum screwlock with a hidden pocket cap under the grip
