Gary Howells Bamboo Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4A rare Gary Howells bamboo fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tip and built for what feels to me like a #4. Serial #3789, built in the first year of Gary's independent rod building after leaving Winston. Excellent overall condition with just a few minor traces of cosmetic wear. There is a tiny amount of hand soiling to the grip, and some reel foot indentations in the reel seat. There are also a few very small blemishes in the varnish around the writing on the
