whilst the shield boss appears to be constructed from steel
The war is named after the emblems of both families: a red rose for the Lancasters and a white rose for the Yorkists
The leather flap on the upper side permits you to connect it to your clothing
but possesses all the qualities of a sword
A fine garment for historical re-enactment
The swords feature an extra-wide full tang
the edge and tip are blunt
as they can be fastened and untied with laces
but has instead been based on different parts of original late fourteenth century – early fifteenth century swords employed in the Battle of Shrewsbury
