viking axe antiquedThe Danish axe (daneaxe) is a replica of a 10th century original excavated in London. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the British Museum. This fine axe has been given an antique finish so that it appears to be very old. It is entirely handmade and is sharp, though it can be blunted for an additional charge. The axe has a hardwood grip, whilst the blade is crafted from carbon steel with a hardness of 52 HRC. The axe is 89 cm long
