Hardy St. John MK2 Fly ReelA nice Hardy St. John Mark II salmon reel, 3 7 8 diameter and set up for LHW (but reversible). 2 screw latch. Enamel finish and smooth aluminum foot. Near mint condition with some mounting marks on the foot and a few minute specks on the frame. Comes in the original black vinyl case.
Black aluminum down-locking reel seat with a beautifully figured wood spacer
Comes in a cloth bag with a Hardy logo on it
Very rare/extremely scarce especially in unfished/unlined as new condition
poacher's knob and Bogdan nameplate
The check mechanism is a bit similar to Hardy's 1912 check system
made in 2002 and sold through Marty Keane

Excellent working condition with cosmetic signs of use
The rod comes with an aluminum
The sideplates have some moderate cosmetic use with a few light scratches here and there
