A classic S style reel from the protege of the late Dr. Paul Hermann and this is brand new from Todd's workbench, one of only a handful of large spey reels that Todd has made. The inner frame width is 1 1 2" giving this reel plenty of capacity. 2: 1 multiplying retrieve. Thramer indicated that this was a limited edition series of rods and that only three were made

This is an excellent fishing reel mechanically

Comes with it original box and reel case

The rod packs in the original bag (the hang tag is missing) and the original tube with white felt in the brass cap

The action of this rod I would rate as on the medium side of medium fast
