Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 7/8"For sale here is a leaded pre war 3 7 8" Hardy Perfect. MKII check both pawls engageable. Fine mechanical condition no issues. Original agate line guide has two cracks. Ribbed brass "bullet" foot appears to be a replacement by looking at the the back side of the reel foot pillar (see pics). Gear teeth and pawls still very sharp. Winding plate is stamped "TAG" for Thomas Armstrong. Nice thick ebonite handle spins freely. "Hardy's Pat" on the line guide

Type III sink tip line comes with reel

35 inches and the reel weighs a little under 7 ounces

but there is only one spot where you will find a small piece of varnish chipped off the rod
