Payne Model 212 Bamboo Rod 9'6" 3/2 #7For sale here is a E. F. Payne Model 212 9 1 2 3 2 light salmon rod for a #7 line, sold by Abercrombie and Fitch. This rod has an uplocking screw lock reel seat with Payne's standard Spanish cedar spacer. Wraps are brown with purple tips. Agate stripping guide. The rod was restored by Steve Blake and remains in mint restored condition. One tip is 0. 12" shorter than the other. Rod weighs 6 3 8 oz and the ferrule sizes are 11 64 & 17 64.
"504" and "2-0" are stamped into the bar attached to the reel foot
The foot is full length and unmolested
This consignor was a personal friend of Ernie Schwiebert as they both lived in Princeton
