Both the butt cap and sliding band make use of a 7 degree internal taper to match the shape of a reel foot for a very secure fit. Confluence Cap and Ring seats are precision machined from solid Duronze and Nickel Silver bar stock to very exacting tolerances. Each set of cap and ring hardware includes a Butt Cap, Sliding Band, and Cork Check designed to
