Peerless #5 Fly ReelAn excellent Peerless #5 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. A nice versatile size, this classic S handle reel has good capacity and a strong drag. The spool width is ~1" and the reel is designed to hold a WF7 or WF8 with ~125 yards of backing. It weighs 8. 7 ounces on my scale. Good used condition with some moderate rim rash on the frame edges and some mounting marks on the foot, but the sideplates are good and clean. The reel is excellent

Fast DF action

The ribbed brass foot is very short at approximately 2 1/2" and is shaped to a "canoe" profile and I suspect this was not the factory original and was added later
