Description
ATH Rio Orbigo Fly ReelA nice Ari 't Hart Rio Orbigo F2 fly reel, with a 2 7 8" spool diameter and set up for LHW. The reel appears to be in mint unfished condition. Serial number 4757. Made in Denmark. Silver anodized throughout with red script on the backplate. Designed to hold a WF7 and 125 yds. The reel packs into the original black ATH case.
As can be seen in the very clear photos
the tip tops are straight tube rather than a taper tube and have no stamp - late model tip tops from the 1970's
80 clips with a folding leaf
Chrome snake guides and a #8 mildrum carbide stripper
The rod weighs 3 1/2 oz
The reel has no excessive wobble or end play
All parts remain original
and The Prince of Wales (1931)
with gilt titles and decoration
The original aluminum tube has a brass collar and aluminum top and Edwards data sticker which is about 50% intact on the tube
No line grooves to rims or shouldered pillars
The TR 45 has no gearing
