This had not come my way since the big Cros Parantoux tasting held in 2003 and based on this most recent bottle
and honeysuckle
this is a classic RSV
Tawny ports are aged in wood from essentially a solera system for the number of years indicated on the bottle
is a relatively powerful statement from the new owners
and extraordinarily fragrant
This is definitely a "buy and forget you own it" wine as I would advise not touching a bottle for at least 10 years and 15 to 20 would likely be better
The youngest and most backward
but with more focus and vibrancy
The finish is long with berry
moving toward blacker berries
floral elements and a background note of anise
