Farlow's 2 3/4" Perfect-style Fly ReelFor sale here is a Perfect style reel from Farlow's of London a 2 3 4 inch "Aluminum" model reel. Adjustable check. The check mechanism is a bit similar to Hardy's 1912 check system. Holdfast logo and maker info stamped on winding plate. No line grooves. Correct smooth brass foot. There is some spool spindle play and a bit of wobble. Still a very scarce size Farlow's reel. extremely hard to find!
This is an absolutely beautiful vise with all the modern amenities that is no longer made as it proved too expensive to produce
although still medium-fast overall
