1979 Aria Pro II Japan ST-500 '62 Reissue Stratocaster (Sunburst)Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1979, the SE 500 was a mid range model from the Aria Pro II catalog. Features a Sunburst finish on an ash body bolted to a '62 profile maple neck with a veneer rosewood fingerboard and weighs 3. 8kg's. Appears to be all original except for a replacement neck plate. This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them

The original Fender Japan ceramic single coils have been upgraded with a set of unbranded vintage cloth-wired alnico pickups that we sourced from the Tokai factory along with a new 5-way pickup selector and output jack paired with the original pots and hardware
