Its always nice when its sunny and blue skies but there is something about days like this that heighten ones senses, maybe the lack of visual stimulation or the depth if field. Humpback numbers are rising each year here on the BC coast and on this particular occasion we were lucky enough to not only see but hear around 20 humpbacks surfacing all within about a mile of each other as we at in silent awe

The deep blues and colours in Antarctica never seem to cease ones imagination

I was pleasantly surprised to find these two penguins chattering away on the iceberg

launching the poor dolphin into the air with immense force
