1986 Charvel Japan Model 1 Superstrat (Black)

1986 Charvel Japan Model 1 Superstrat (Black)Japanese made in 1986, the Model 1 was the simple pleasure from the Jackson Charvel catalog. Basswood body with a maple neck and 22 fret maple fingerboard (12" 16" compound radius), it's loaded with a single Jackson J 90C humbucker controlled by a master volume knob and weighs 3. 8kg's. Looks to be all original except for the missing truss cover. Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, plays great and sounds very nice. Neck is straight

Frets have seen some very light use but are shiny and play well

Weighs just under 3

Good used condition with signs of standard use over the last 30 years

Only sold to the Japanese market

These were a very similar circuit to the Maxon PT-9

We're really proud of how this one turned out and really wanted to give people something that was a little bit different to the traditional guitar colour palette

we're unsure what model this is but we've had a couple over the years

frets are smooth with some pitting but have plenty of life
