1980's Profile Silhouette Japanese '57 Style Stratocaster (Sunburst)One of the Japanese made Profile Silhouttes from the late 70's and early 80's, this one is a replica of the Fender '57 design with a sunburst finish on a solid basswood body, slim maple neck with 21 frets and compact headstock. Weighing 3. 5kg's, it looks to be all original except for a replaced neck plate. Loaded with Gotoh tuners and three alnico single coils (the neck one has an IR sticker) along with full sized pots. Appears to be all original except for the professional transparent green refinish that shows off the grain on the top and back

All original including the chrome Rocking Magic II locking tremolo system and a pair of Power Guerrilla rail humbuckers

it's a nice hefty mahogany build with a slim 60's mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with big block inlays

Middle pickup not working

trapezoid inlays and an open book headstock give it the classic Gibson aesthetic

Very good used condition with some clouding to the finish

light pitting and play wear with an adjustable truss and straight neck

The 21 fret nato neck with rosewood fingerboard was an absolute pleasure to play and the neck size was very similar to that of an electric guitar
