1958年 大阪生まれ 30歳前後は版画家として版画教室と制作活動をおこない、その後、溶接技術を学び、金属の彫刻作品の制作をはじめる。
1975 丹波・篠山町にて独立築窯
2008年 細川護光氏に師事
手仕事にこだわり、素材、デザイン、機能性と、それぞれのバランスを追求した家具・木工製品の制作・販売をおこなう。
2000年 North Carolina Pottery Center Resident Artist
「シンプルで静かな存在感があるものを自分の手で作り出し、それをできるだけ広く多くの人に使ってほしい」、そんな思いで制作されています。
