The Octave Glentauchers 2009 12 Year OldA beautifully focused Speyside single malt, Glentauchers 12 Year Old was distilled in 2009 and matured patiently in oak casks for over a decade, building a smooth, naturally sweet core of vanilla, apple and gentle oak spice. For the final chapter, it was transferred into ex sherry Octave casks (smaller format casks that turbocharge flavour integration) for a 9 month finish, adding deeper layers of chocolate, dried fruit richness and warming spice.
